Nightly Comforts

I'm sitting in bed, lights off, contacts out of my eyes, and I want to read an article on the web. Normally, this would be an improbable situation. The problem is, there's just not enough light to see the keyboard, and the letters on screen are too small without my contacts or glasses (which broke last week).

How appreciative I am then, that Lenovo ThinkPads have a built-in LED light at the top of the screen that casts a bright light on the entirety of the keyboard. Gone are the days of holding a flashlight between my teeth as I struggle to type, read, and keep my teeth clamped down. With a simple press of Fn+PgUp, the keyboard area is flooded with a small but sufficiently bright light.

The second little extra that goes so far in my comfort and satisfaction is the zoom option. By pressing Fn+Space, the resolution is reduced from 1440x900 to 960x600, thereby increasing the size covered by each pixel. Text gets bigger. Pictures get bigger. Everything, in fact, gets bigger and easier to see with my tired, unfocused eyes.

What are some of your favorite "little things" that Lenovo does to make their products just a little bit more enjoyable to use, more functional, more comfortable? Is there anything you would want changed or added? Let me what you are Thinking.
